I ordered some transistors so I can trip the 5v input using a 3.3v output from the MCU. I’ll make a little board for it.
I cleaned up your dimensions drawing a bit. It doesn’t have all the relays and stuff, but at least the hole positions are easier to read. I used the values from your bullet points for the lengths.
Had i been using an skr. I would have fixed this 3.3v vs 5v issue, but i only recently encountered it and used a similar solution… Not the most elegant, but functional.
It’s ok. I have a Manta8 board sitting on the shelf I was going to migrate to ‘eventually’. I just got lazy and re-flashed the SKR instead.
I my second build used an skr for a bit until i cooked it with an inductive bed sensor…
I really like the Manta with the cmdb built-in. It cleans up a lot of wiring. I’d just have to print a new mount and redo a bunch of wiring to make it work.
