Super excited to finally get a chance to open my Lr4 with 3d printed parts and aluminum plates. My question is before I start I noticed the tool holder has a split on the back side. Should I continue and build it up or see if I should ask for a replacement? Received this two days ago just got a chance to open it. Also little let down in myself as I thought I ordered everything only to find out I didnt add a jackpot controller just the jackpot controller 3d printed box. So I’llhave to order one. Is the jackpot2 ok to start with?
Welcome to the forum @Merc4now!!
@vicious1 would be the best one to answer this one. It might be tomorrow morning before he see’s it.
Jackpot 2 should be great as long as you don’t need PWM. If you are planning to run a standard trim router you will be good to go!
Looking forward to seeing your build progress!
There should not be a giant crack in the core.
It kinda looks like the filament didn’t extrude on that layer for one section of the print, rather than a crack, but still not normal.
That is from a filament change. There is no issue with it. That should only be that one singular line on the outer perimeter.
If there are any issues down the road, I will replace it.
Glad to hear. I’ll start assembling as soon as I get home then thanks Ryan.
Trust me Bro! Warranties from someone reliable is the best thing to ever happen!
