Onefinity spindle

Just curious to everyone’s thoughts on the just announced onefinity spindle from redline.

At roughly $750, the offerings seem pricy. A similar VFD and spindle purchased from Amazon runs about half of that number, and the typical Makita or Makita clone solution runs under $150. From a power standpoint, the Makita is roughly equivalent to a 1000-watt spindle, so there is a bit of a power upgrade with these spindles vs. a Makita router.

Significantly lower noise seems to be one of the main selling points of spindles vs. routers, but from what I’ve read, liquid cooled spindles are notability quieter than air cooled ones, and Redline is only offering air cooled spindles.
