One of my Jackpot Endstop pins appears to be inverted

I’ve set up dual end stops, and it was all working and awesome. Had the whole thing off and disconnected for a few days.

Today I powered up, and…

The X1 end-stop connector on the Jackpot light is OFF, and comes ON when I complete the circuit. So it’s working, but the normal state is inverted.

The other three (X2, Y1, Y2) are normally ON and turn OFF when I push the switch, i.e. seem to be working as we expect.

Assuming I had shorted my wiring, I disconnected the wire from the board, but the light stayed OFF. It only comes ON when I short the pins with a screwdriver.

I’ve restarted the board a few times, no luck.

I Swear To God I have not (yet) messed around with the config, it should all be stock.

That is expected behavior. Are you sure your endstop is not wire NO instead of NC?

OK. I’m under the impression that all of the end stop lights are normally Lit, and they go dark when the switch is pressed. That’s been the thing so far. I have the single X1 switch that is behaving opposite to the other three.

Sounds like your X1 switch is wired normally open instead of normally closed. And all your other switches are wires normally closed as they should be. That’s the only thing that could be happening with what you are describing. It happens sometimes. Just check the wires on that switch.

Thanks everyone. I was confused.

No problem. It happens to us all. Me quite often lol. Hopefully its easy to get straightened out

I got these little 2-wire connectors from Amzn, they’re a bit fiddly to crimp correctly.
