Oak dice box

To test my freshly build lowrider v3 i made some dice boxes for my girlfriend and one for my sister. They are made from solid white oak that i had laying around. I made the toolpaths in fusion360.
Settings:
-6mm 2 flute HSS upcut bit
-6mm doc
-1700mm/s (was pushing it at this doc in solid white oak)

I am very impressed on the performance of this machine, i didn’t go easy on it and still performed beyond my expectations! Little to no sanding was needed, only some rounding over on the router table.

Nice. You can go pretty fast, most people rather use very conservative settings. :slightly_smiling_face:

Nice! White oak is no joke either. Great work.

I’d rather see it’s full potential  I get why people are conservative but I’d like to find the limits of this machine and use it as a tool. If it breaks I know that I went too far and fix it :upside_down_face: Used it again today, made a serving tray out of white oak for my grandparents. Same bit but i lowered the feed to 1200mm/s and increased the doc to 10mm, performed well.
