I’m running a NUBM44-81 at 7.5v ~6amps. I finally got diode temperature under control with a 15 amp Peltier cooler and CPU heat sink. I’m using a 10 amp PID LPLDD from Opt Lasers to control the Laser and cooler. This was the first stable full power run. Think I’m going to fit air assist next.

That is just begging for a fancy clear case with wire and hose routing built in. Super cool.
Hmmmm… maybe a little over engineered. Did a 45 minute cut at full power and the diode heat sink was between 78 and 80 F. May have to add a beer holder…
