I think that’s a great idea, but I would probably go nuts after building the whole machine matchy matchy, then have that section no matchy

This make me wonder about creating a PLA chip plow (kind of like a train snow plow) with a TPU edge to go in front of each wheel to keep it clear.
Or, I’ve been thinking about printing a bracket to attach a small, stiff brush to clear the bearing. This is often seen on a bandsaw to keep the wheels clean.
I bought a roll of tpu just for the dust shoe, besides this I’ve had no use for it. My printer doesn’t like tpu, i have a stack of failures doing this.
If planned on doing exactly that but figured it would end up building up anything that made it to the middle, basically trapping it between the wheels.
