New SKR board still having issues

@vicious1 @MakerJim
OK, Have got my jackpot board working. All is good, Got my original SKR Board working by reflashing with proper SD card. All is good. Now back to the New SKR board purchased from V1 shop. Also reflashed , file changed on card from bin to cur. Still have board labeled Z1 led illuminated (jumper in place I get that) and Board labeled E0 led illuminated. I have switched endstop plugs around but the E0 led stays illuminated. Have installed new endstops and plugs, E0 stays illuminated. I believe I have a problem with the board but do not know what to check now. 13:38:28.358 : N129 M122*40

Don’t worry about the LED’s.

Are you saying no matter what you do Y2_min never changes state? If you unplug the Y2min endstop does it change? Remember that report is not real time so you have to change the state and run it again.

Correct Y2_min does not change, switched to new endstop and plug, always on.
This is with Y2 unplugged.

Do all the rest work as expected?

If you short ground and signal, does it change?

Did you ever plug in the wire in the wrong spot, hitting that third pin?

left the shop for the night.
The other endstops do appear to be working properly.
If you short ground and signal, does it change?
I have installed a new endstop and plug then triggered it manually. Still no change, Is this what you meant?

Did you ever plug in the wire in the wrong spot, hitting that third pin?
I don’t think I have but cannot say defiantly. Is there a way to check?

That simulates a switch, bypasses any wires or switch issues for testing.

No, there could still be a bad connection. Best to use a jumper and shrt the two pins directly.

Hitting that third pin will kill that endstop. There is a spare to use with a firmware config edit, if needed.

How long have you had your board?

Ok I will use a jumper tomorrow. I don’t have my receipt with me right now but around thr first week of December 2024 is when I ordered it. Can get the exact day and order number tomorrow.

Removed all end stop plugs and replaced with jumpers. E0 still illuminated.

The invoice order number is

Order date was

Don’t worry about the LED, what does the endstop report say?

This is with all endstop plugs removed and all 6 jumpers in place.

Okay, sorry last thing to check. The pins have been bent up on all the drivers? That pins would cause this issue.

Yes , bent over and cut.

Also I do have another working SKR Pro board and a working Jackpot board if I need to switch anything around for testing/trouble shooting.

Not sure if this might be an issue or not, but you stated that you flashed the SKR yourself. If you inadvertently used the wrong file, could it be possible that the end stop in question isn’t being enabled in the firmware?

Can you confirm which filename you downloaded and installed?

Yes attached is a screenshot of what I used to Reflash my original SKR Pro board that got it back working and used the same firmware.bin file to try a reflash on This new SKR board I purchased from V1 shop.

Yup, that is the correct file for a LR3/LR4.

I have nothing else to suggest at this time.

Okay, thanks for doing the troubleshooting. Sounds like I need to swap boards with you.

If you have your order number that is easiest, or you can PM or email me your email address used for the order and Monday I can get that started.

Ok Thanks , My new Question is we are going to add a LR4 and use the LR3 for training/backup. Would it be possible to send the SKR board and TFT back and get a credit? We would then make a new order for Jackpot board, LR4 printed parts, with Aluminum XZ plates, If that is doable.
The original order number was #26085. The email was aric@libertygraphicsandsigns.com.
Again thank you.
