New MPCNC build - Dallas, TX (2' x 3')

I’m thrilled that I have now completed my MPCNC build using an Ender 3 over the course of 2 weeks for printing & assembly.

Next up is mounting the Dewalt 660 and making the spoilboard. Can’t wait to get cutting into some wood!

Nice!

Yeah please hurry, it is way too clean, Heffe is getting too excited!

Looks nice!

I just got an Ender 3 too, and hope to play with it soon so I can start an MPCNC build. What filament did you use with it?

Howdy neighbor! Kinda weird, I’m just wrapping up my 2x3 build also in DFW. Check it: https://imgur.com/a/cgX2O6i

Ryan - I had to step away for a few days but I’ll get some wood chips going this week and post more pics for Heffe.

Royce - I’m using 3D Solutech PLA filaments and have ironing enabled for the Ender 3. I also use the salt water method on a glass bed at 70C initial layer and 60C subsequent layers as I was having troubles with the original bed and warping.

Clayton - Looks great! I still need to finish my cable chain and the aluminum rail addition. I’m really liking your control box and wiring setup. Out of curiosity, what do you have in the end of your EMT pipe? Is that a nylon insert? EDIT - nevermind, I think I’m seeing things after looking at it again!

If you’re asking about what I have inside the EMT on the top holding the cable chain, it’s a part I whipped up that fits inside and expands.
