New Lr4 in Rome

Hi all,

Here Is my Lr4.

It has a 1x1.5 Meter workspace and an aircooled 1.5 Kw spindle and VFD.

I’ve started with a Tinybee but at the end I had to get a jackpot 2 board and It made all the difference in the world. I’m in the process of adding a vacuum table since the main purpouse will be cutting Eva.

Please forgive my English, the t9 from my mobile Is Just not collaborating.

Thank you Jim, actually I’ve been here for many years but sadly I don’t participate too much.

All the motors in fact are from my old MPCNC burly-primo– Brutus. This machine had quite an evolution.

The setup is pretty dirty and the room kind of dark so the pictures are really not so great.

I’m still in the process of completing all the back panels-cabling- mods but I’m glad to say that it works, it only have a few issues that will surely be fixed with a good calibration.

The table is a cheap’o torsion table that is held up by two small sawhorses. I’ve made a boom for the dust collection since the 40mm shopvac tube doesn’t bend too well and it messes up all the tramming (this is something I’m trying to figure out even with this configuration).

I’ve got a pendant ready to install but I’ve still didn’t manage to install it since I find that the arm for the laptop gets the job done just fine.

Next on the list of things to do is the vacuum table and a few cabinets to use as a base.

Hi @Giorgione

What are the diameter and the spacing of the threaded inserts ?

Thx.

The insert is M8, the spacing is roughly 10 cm.
