Hey guys,
I am using some old LR3 parts, upgrading to a new LR4. I also am upgrading to the jackpot board. I have the Z and Y wired up and all the endstops are working and jogging works on both axis. Also Y is homing just fine. Z is homing correctly on one side, but the ZMin is making a crazy noise. Again, i can jog it up and down. Seem only homing causes this. I took off the plate to make sure nothing was binding. Here is a video of it happening. I hit the endstop so it stops trying. Any ideas?

That is odd. What happens if you swap the Z plugs on the jackpot (while powered off)
Does the weird noise stay (stepper/cable) or move (driver)?
good idea. ill give that a try tonight. thanks
Just to give an update here. I swapped the plugs and the issue followed it. At that point i knew it had to be the wiring. So i rewired it, same thing. Then I remembered I had an extra motor. I hooked that up with he same wiring and worked like a champ. So, ended up being the motor, which I realize, very rarely happens. I am back in business. Almost up and running!!
