Let me first voice my thanks to Ryan & the whole support team on this forum for creating and sharing the files & knowledge on how to build a CNC. I am getting to the end of my journey and this is my first post after much reading & learning from you all.
I bought the LR3 hardware and board from Ryan a few months before rumors surfaced about a LR4. It took me a while to finalize the best way to organize myself & the desired cutting size in relation to my available space. I used an old strong kitchen table as support and followed all the advices on what to use and how to build. The whole thing went relatively smooth outside of minor issues (bad limit switch connector, human (me) silly errors (thinking that I know better than the instructions,…).
Next step is to cut the 3 struts using some SurePly, assemble them, organize the cabling & suspended vacuum hose… then see what else I can do with this thing!
Thank you again so much!
