In preparation for the LR4 release, i am already gathering some material.
As i am from EU, i bought a jackpot board from Elecrow.
I flashed FluidNC and installed the config of the LR3 to test
(FluidNC_Configs/LowRider CNC/UI V3 LRCNC at main · V1EngineeringInc/FluidNC_Configs · GitHub )
I can jog all steppers except for the X-axis.
I tried the motor on another driver and the motor works, also the driver in another slot works as well …
Any suggestion for trouble shooting ?

Run $SS in the terminal that tells us more relevant info.

When i jog the X, it gives feedback in terminal, but stepper is not moving

Shaft of the X motor is not ‘locked’ while the shaft of the other motors are

You have no driver on your X axis according to the board.
I think Ryan recommends staying with the V2 firmware, it might help.

That is an odd one. Best I can say is pull off the little black socket headers, I have seen the pins crossed up in them and shorting. Since you already verified the driver and stepper I have to assume the socket. The chip also powers the Y and Z sockets so it should be a header pin. Takes a bit of fiddling but you can bend them all in line and put the header sockets back on. Should be easier than returning it and waiting.

Or, since you are in the EU, don’t do that and exchange the board. If you pull of the socket headers etc. you lose the warranty.

Thanks !! That worked … even though it really did not look bad … but still, after reinstalling the headers it works

So next step while waiting for the LR4 release , making a fluidnc pendant.

Awesome!!
I am not sure if it is a header issue or if putting the drivers on kinda wonky moves them. I ship all my boards out fully assembled and have not seen an issue since.
LR4 is coming along…looking real good!!!

I saw this on instagram and honestly thats just mean…
