New build in NC

Over the past several weeks I have been printing the parts for my MPCNC. After thinking through exactly what I would like to accomplish with the machine I came to the conclusion that a 24" x 24" work area seemed like it wold fit my needs. Plugging in my values in the online calculator made establishing my conduit cut sheet nice and easy. I finally pulled the last part off of the printer Saturday and began the process of actually assembling everything this weekend. Today marked the first time that I was able to get the machine moving, just jogging around on the X and Y axis. Ryan was a huge help in helping me work through a couple of issues that I had not anticipated. It is great to have someone who is willing to share their expansive knowledge with you during a project like this. I look forward to dropping the tool mount into the gantry tomorrow morning and drawing the “Crown”.

What part of NC? I’m in Raleigh, and I’ve love to see one of these in person. I’ll bring the beer
