Thank you for your message. See the attached photo of the printed version. The system is connected to a small Karcher WD2 1000-watt vacuum cleaner (costing $75) and a 5-meter vacuum hose with a cyclone in an iron barrel. It still provides excellent suction power! The environment has average humidity, and so far, I haven’t experienced any static electricity. Best regards.
Lucky! Around here, it can get nasty, can feel almost like the outlet if I am not careful around my dust bucket.
As someone who lives with high humidity year round, I would much rather have to ground my dust hose than deal with humidity all the time ![]()
And it’s been a while since I had a whinge - salt air added to humidity is such fun! @tafs_woodworking_903 nice work Johan!
Here are a few new things I have made :
I made an engraving of a motorcycle from this photo for a friend.
On MDF black.
The puppet theater with a logo for a family member.
greetings to all.
That motorcycle is nuts! Super detailed
My small studio isn’t very big, and the LOWRIDER 4 lies on my workbench. Now I hoist the LOWRIDER 4 to the ceiling when I don’t need it. For me, this is a good solution.
Great stuff! Curious what was the work flow for the Yamaha? Software and CNC?Looks great. Material? ![]()
Hello Craig,
I was away for a while, sorry for the late reply.
I made an SVG file from a photo in INKSCAPE,
with that, you can have it milled out in any CNC program.
It was made on the Lowrider 4 on black MDF.
Best regards
Thanks! I also use Inkscape and wow you opened up some ideas.
I’ll check again but last time I looked we don’t have colored MDF locally in Chicago area.
But worth looking again.
