Neat!

https://youtu.be/zjVbAkU3xaU?si=GhepkMmrWdkJyMGn Just showed up in my youtube feed.

This didn’t sound like a good idea…

Profoundly dumb.

At least in the beginning of the video where he working on the same table preparing the next batch, it could make some sense for automation.

However, working on the far side of the shop, facing away and with ear pro on, that is just a recipe for disaster. Too much extra time to notice and too much time to get to the E-Stop.

Well if you are doing a carve with a 0.2mm tapered ball end mill that sounds like a good idea… as long as you do not leave the room.

I’m not sure what their market is. The people that regret leaning over their $3k origin for more than 20 minutes, so they are going to double down for another $1500? idk

It’s exactly that. But they are careful to not mention CNC. Because someone might actually find out that a Low Rider CNC is a great compliment to a handheld CNC if you don’t want to keep holding it.

I don’t know if this is neat or not (it’s not) and there’s a lot of chat, but I thought it quite pleasant and it made me grateful for the jackpot board and all who sails in her. (not that I do at this point in time!)

Enjoy it if you have time.

Easy to relate. Think we all have be there

Yea, I’m subscribed to his channel. He’s funny.

LOL I watched his video last night. His videos are awesome.

I’d buy that…not for $900 mind you. My Mac Classics all have their own colour. It’s more of a used to be ā€œthatā€ colour but now after decades of gathering dust in the office/shop (I have them in two different places) the colour has…let’s call it a patina to it.

It’s only $22 now that he’s done the hard part.

I thought they sold out.

The plasticizers and UV light meant they all did that. Many started cracking too. I had one where the case just shattered.

The wedge to drop the accurate count and the scanner camera are so cool.

I have seen the stairstep deal before, but not with the multiple move shuffle to get them aligned, normally they just use a couple steps to simplify the process. That might limit the size of part you can use though.

That again is extremely quality work and I love it.

Is this neat? Automated belt tension testing printer.
