What!

well. those parts sure look familiar.

That’s what I said when I started the video.

Huh… some kind of credit would’ve been nice!

I mean. Is there anything you could even do about your parts being used on some else’s machine without any credit?

One of the comments on the video is someone saying ā€œyou should fill it with sand and have a bearing draw the mazeā€ and I’m half tempted to reply to that comment with a link to the zen XY.

I have to say I’m a bit curious why use older MPCNC parts, the video was posted May 4 this year.

Maybe that Shopbot was an upgrade?

Nice joystick. I wonder how that works.

If you required people to credit it every time it was used, then it would appear in fewer projects. There were no words in it either.

It would have been cool to see it mentioned. But it shouldn’t be a requirement. Anyone who looks into it will find V1.

If they were selling the parts for a kit or something, that would be different. But just using the machine in a video without saying where it is from is still cool.

I just blew some peoples minds last night with the Zen. It was actually hilarious. They were talking about how long it must take me to rake my dinner table to get it so perfect. I said I built a robot that does it for me and they said ā€œB.S.!ā€ So I turned it on. :exploding_head:

Now it is time for a joystick. I might have to change back to Marlin for that to use your code though.

I have no issues with them not mentioning my name. Just glad to see a cool project.

I wish there was a separate gcode for jogging. The firmware can handle the movement so much better, since it has lower latency.

Maybe some gcode with a top speed (as a vector) and a max duration (in case it disconnects). New commands will supercede the previous ones.

WAIT a minute, dinner table??? I want pictures, that must be huge!!!

This new printer has a bunch of the guys on the Railcore discord kinda excited.

Barry, you need a site with links. Like Digg but all this cool stuff. My wallet will hate you for it but dang. This is the first printer I have ever wanted to buy in a long time. You have an eye for the kind of stuff I think is Neat.

Right! Shaneh said I don’t need another printer…

A lot of innovative choices here. I think I want the upside down see through build plate the most.

You will know when you have a adhesion problem for sure.

Such a great video. I love seeing the process it took to get there. So many cool choices were made.
