I’m pretty much done printing and assembling my first-ever LR CNC machine that I plan to use primarily for making guitar templates. I’m about to finish up the wiring to the control board and getting the software set up, but I can’t find any reference in the set up guide on how to level the gantry, or how level is “good enough”. Right now I’m using a digital level, but that is only accurate to +/- o.1 degree. Is that accuracy sufficient for cutting 1/2" or 3/4" MDF?

“Level” is not really what you are going for. You want it to be trammed, or parallel, as close as possible with the table
How precise is “good enough” will depend on the type of cuts you are doing, but once “level”, it can be made better by surfacing if necessary

I’d say it’s good enough till you cut out your strut plates to replace the temp ones since you’ll be taking it off again at that point anyways
Thanks for the responses and link to the documentation - that I missed.
