What are these 4 holes on the base of the core used for ?
More knowledgeable users might correct me but they are extra holes for you to use however you wish I believe.
I know I am modeling up a vacuum boot for my laser and will probably connect it with those holes. You might use them for zip ties and wire management or whatever.

Yup, that’s the deal. The idea is nice places to add zip ties instead of yanking on the z axis.

I posted a fusion 360 file in this topic that includes the layout for the bottom of the core including the holes.
