Only if your neighbor does any finish work in your shared alley…
Okay, so this is 2 hours or so of running. The part that kinda amazes me is the bag hasn’t even puffed up, that leads me to believe the airflow through it is very free. The MDF dust is super fine and no trace of it in the can or filter. I don’t think much comes through until the bucket gets more full. I am now trying to empty the bucket every time I swap sheets too keep it all here. All those YouTube videos where they fill the bucket seems to kinda misses the point of easy to empty.
For CNC, thes bags are extremely worth it. They are going to save me so much time cleaning filters and keep the performance high.
Wish I would have done this sooner.
The puffyness of the bag was me initially making sure it was free to open, it hasn’t moved.
Nice !
If needed, you could get even more suction with filter bags like those ones:
I am loving these super cheap ones. $2 each, no brainer. Those $7 bags make my fugal sensor pucker, although I do think 1/2 hour of my time is worth $7.
So at this point, what about a nylon? Or anything to that nature. Also if you have anyone crafty around you with a sewing machine, they may be able to make you a fabric bag with a zipper that can be cleaned, just ideas.
@vicious1 - Those are some very VERY clean white shoes!!!
I used a photo filter…my shoes are only white for about an hour.
All that requires cleaning. What I think I have learned is the effort of cleaning makes me procrastinate and it just gets worse. With a cheap bag I might try to pop the end open and see if it still works after dumping it, but really I think I rather just toss a bag every couple months. Heck the rate this is going that bag might last a very long time. It keeps all the fine powder out of the filter. Previously the vac would be empty but the filter would cake up really bad with the ultra fine stuff, who knows how much was getting through and letting me breathe it. Erring on the side of safety these days.
