I have recently been playing around with Hurforge thanks to @Jonathjon and tonight I am printing out the first project that I have remastered! Here’s a pic of it in the works…super stoked!!
They are super fun, can’t wait to see it finished, and your next ones too. What size is it?
HueForge is developing at a great rate too. I’ve only done a couple because with manual colour changes, this one I posted somewhere here a year ago, six colours believe it or not - 100 tiles (about 3" square) so a lot of sitting beside the printer.
Perhaps when I get through my overload of projects a colour change printer is on the way - then watch out!
We have been printing a lot of them from printables/makerwold on my Qidi printers that are manual filament swaps. Thankfully they will keep the bed hot for a good while so I don’t have to be sitting here constantly waiting. They sure are cool looking. Making your own is quite the task. I just don’t have the eye for the color but I keep watching videos and keep trying lol. Also nice that they take so little filament. Great use for those spools that barely have a wrap left on the spool. I swear I have a blue that I have used on 3-4 of them and still haven’t used it all lol.
Finished product!! 133x200 milometers is the size. There definitely is a skill to manually recoloring an image.
Holy crap. That’s a crazy amount of detail…
That’s very cool - what are you doing with them?
Right now, they are hanging on my office wall. In the future, not sure.
