Multimeter Upgrade Suggestions

I am thinking of replacing my 20-year-old GreenLee DM20 multimeter. It works ok but would like to have the auto ranging and have some different test probes like the Test Hook Clip probes. These probes might fit over the ones I have BOCEUC Test Hooks Clips, Multimeter Test Lead Kit Mini Test Hook Clip for 2mm Plug Test Probe Electronic Testing IC Grabber: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific but after 20 years, seems like a good time to upgrade. One of my friends mentioned getting one that has a built-in oscilloscope, but not sure I need that. Any suggestions for this? I see some black Friday deals on them.

Not sure you need that either, but I bought one that happened to have a 2-channel scope in it, and I’ve been reasonably happy with it. As long as you understand the limitations, these are fine (under $100 US, even in the tarrif madness)…

Thanks. That is actually the same one my friend mentioned.

Check out the Fluke 15B (not the B+), very affordable and does everything a home user would need.

I bought this one back in 2018 from amazon, which is now discontinued.

But this looks like the exact same thing with different branding.

It still serves me well.

I had asked in both a scratch built printer forum and in this forum and received a recommendation in my price range for this one. I feel like its performed pretty well for me at the hobby level.

Thanks for all the suggestions. After looking at a number of youtube videos, I decided on this one.
