MPCNC - Sweden

I have been getting some really wierd results trying to use my MPCNC despite me being picky, calibrating it as much as possible, making sure everything is straight, level and so on…

But when the reference is out of whack it really doesnt matter how much you mess with it.

Turns out the table I used is really bad…you assume it would be flat but it is not, in fact it is sagging about 2cm in the center… so there goes all adjustments…(old table is 80 * 120cm)

Now I aquired a 2nd hand table with a steel frame under the solid wooden board. I bet this will not flex.

This new table is 60 * 80cm so I will have to reduce the size of MPCNC to fit as it was 70 * 70cm

I think I go for 60 * 60cm and shorten the legs as much as possible.

2cm is quite a sag! There are so many variables to take into account, and so much to learn! How flat is flat? Good luck :cowboy_hat_face:

Yes, I totally assumed the desk was flat…So question now that I have a cool dedicated table, should I wait for PRIMO or move this one over…desicions…

I had this same issue, I could barely believe how useless my cyclone/bucket was compared to the videos I saw on YouTube. Someone mentioned that even the slightest leak will compromise the cyclone. I got a new drum and bingo. Nothing in my vac, nothing. Hope this helps.

Hi,

Where can you find 25.4mm tubing in Sweden at ok price?

Ahlsell.se has 25.4 mm pipe for the foodindustrim prolly expensive as heck. 25.4 mm is hard to find here.

Jag köpte mina på stena stål.

The rebuild is almost done!
New case for electronics is being printed. It will be mounted under the table.

OK, the thing is now tested with a crown. Looking forward to finally be able to do some cuts again and I notified my wife that I will buy a MAKITA router to use.

It will be a step-up compared to the Chinese router I got atm, even tho it still does the job albeit a bit slower.

I need to design a bracket for my LCD to come out of the tube on left side.

The RAMPS case I use is this one:

The End-stops are this model

The Neat cable management are tape-measures so the models are here:

Big thanks to respective designers for the models, they work just great.
