I have been getting some really wierd results trying to use my MPCNC despite me being picky, calibrating it as much as possible, making sure everything is straight, level and so on…
But when the reference is out of whack it really doesnt matter how much you mess with it.
Turns out the table I used is really bad…you assume it would be flat but it is not, in fact it is sagging about 2cm in the center… so there goes all adjustments…(old table is 80 * 120cm)
Now I aquired a 2nd hand table with a steel frame under the solid wooden board. I bet this will not flex.
I had this same issue, I could barely believe how useless my cyclone/bucket was compared to the videos I saw on YouTube. Someone mentioned that even the slightest leak will compromise the cyclone. I got a new drum and bingo. Nothing in my vac, nothing. Hope this helps.
OK, the thing is now tested with a crown. Looking forward to finally be able to do some cuts again and I notified my wife that I will buy a MAKITA router to use.
It will be a step-up compared to the Chinese router I got atm, even tho it still does the job albeit a bit slower.
I need to design a bracket for my LCD to come out of the tube on left side.
