MPCNC Primo Giveaway - Local Northern VA /Manassas / Bristow area

I am moving/reducing and got a new machine and no longer need so I would like to giveaway (no cost) my existing MPCNC setup to someone local. I am not gonna pay or ship. I am near Northern Virginia/Manassas/Bristow. Must come pick up.

Is approx default/recommended size in the calculator. Rambo 1.4 Marlin V1E flashed/store board. V1e parts and motors from the kit. All parts from V1e. Pretty standard. I have a box of extra printed parts included that I ordered and used 1 or 2 (?) piece out of it replace broken parts. So loosely speaking there is almost 2 complete set of printed parts here so you have extras. It has worked well for me. Router/bits/waste supply yourself. If you want, you can even take have the entire cabinet it is sitting on and leave it attached!

I would prefer to donate to someone who wants to get started in this hobby. But if you just want parts that works too. It needs to go.

  • Local Pickup Only.
  • Send me a PM and we can go from there.

I also wanted to thank the community for helping me get going and the support I’ve received. Cheers.

EDIT: SHoudl this be in “SALE” or MPCNC area?

I ended up with a LogMill 30x30. As they prepare for the new models the existing are discounted as they are being cleaned out. I wanted an AltMill but lack of job means compromises for now and I could reuse the router at least.

Cool, how is it?

Its very nice actually. Both better and worse then expectations. It’s sure beefy enough to support the router and seems very well built and stable and easy-ish to assemble following the instructions. After assembly is self-service. G-sender seems very good control software though “different” and rubbing my head a few times until I found things. I did a squaring but not any kind of tramming or test cuts for precision/quality tests yet. I’ve only cut 1 thing (see below) to make sure its working during the 90 day warranty. Good thing ; The side bracket wouldn’t thread and they are sending a new one. I also went out and bought a tap and fixed so I could finish testing. The board and enclosure seem well thought out for the most part (Though I wish the on switch was on the other side). But… I guess It seems like it’s just yet another well built frame and board. But I dont have much to compare to. It is underwhelming in a way? Was I expecting too much? Probably. I am not sure how different it is then a Shapeoko 3 or Open Builds or whatever. At the price … I am very happy with what I got compared to others. And in case anyone was wondering, no tariffs. Came in about a week and a half.

My only cut is below:

Looks like a great machine.

I also really like that you gave away your Primo, hopefully that start someone else on a good CNC journey.
