After a long search I finally got the 2 gray cables and plugged them in.
switching to Marlin mode works great.
Is there a possibility to change the language to German?
Unfortunately I can’t speak English!
Have always worked in touch mode on my MPCNC. I use a USB stick for the G codes.
unfortunately it always crashed with the laser
I use Lightburn when lasering.
I read here it should work in Marlin mode???
Please help !!!
Yes, you can select your language in the firmware and recompile and flash the SKR Pro, to change the touch side you need to reflash the config.ini file.
Does the language only change in Marlin mode because in Touch mode it is in German!
I’ve read somewhere that I have to unplug the 2 gray cables when overwriting?
Thanks for the quick reply earlier
Greetings Grassy
I need help again in Marlin mode, I’ve looked through everything but haven’t changed anything yet! Unfortunately I don’t know where to start, can someone help me what I should change where and how!
does it work without endstops I didn’t mount any on my mpcnc.
how do I set the zero point? or do I have to do it in touch mode?
Where do I have to plug in the usb stick with the gcodes at the top of the screen or at the bottom of the board???
So far I’ve always created the gcodes with Estlcam when I’ve done something with the milling machine.
When lasering, I use Lightburn.
Sorry if these are stupid beginner questions!
Never worked in Marlin mode!
I hope the translator works like this
Thank you Grassy

Your machine will work fine without endstops, but you need to avoid homing the machine.
how do I set the zero point?
The first menu item in the V1 custom menu will zero x, y, and z. You can also have g-code inserted automatically in EstlCAM that zeros the machine. You want to insert G92 X0 Y0 Z0. And you would put it in Setup/CNC Programs/Texts/Program Start.

I don’t know if a USB stick will work in Marlin mode. I know that an SD card works in Marlin mode, and you would select it from the last menu item. I use an SD card with Marlin mode as my primary way to drive my machine.
