Macro Buttons

Could someone please explain the purpose of the built in macro buttons (1-6)?

I have my LR3 converted from a Rambo to the Jackpot and everything is working as expected. I have trammed and squared it and run a test cut on it. I have also created and successfully tested a probe macro and a park macro so I understand the usage of the macros. I just don’t know what the 6 built in ones are for. I saw in another post that the Save (Macro 2) was for after making a change on the yaml configuration page but I have made some changes there and hit the set button and they have stuck so not sure why you would need that button.

Macros can run specific gcodes to perform any action you want. I wouldn’t use a probing macro because fluid has its own probing section. I use an xyz probe a lot and my macros are all populated with one for each bit size/type i use v bits, 1.5mm, 1/4", 1/8" the surfacing bit and some others

Mostly they are just place holders. Two turn on the 5v ports, two turn them off. One is save, one is power down all steppers.

Do whatever you would like, or just delete them.

I know what macros are for.
I was asking what the actual purpose of the 6 built in ones are for.
The probe macro I created was for a specific purpose. I use Estlcam and it creates my probing to run at each job start.

Thanks, Ryan. I have much to learn.

Ah, sorry, as i replaced the original config i recived never saw the originals macros.

Did you make these to turn LED lights on and off?

Nope just so I can test the boards when I flash them.

For the WLED stuff I have special macros I add to my board so I have a short press, long press, and double press.
