Lunyee Endmills kit question. First post. Be gentle

Heyooo! Hej & hallå!

Currently collecting components, just fasteners and steppers left, and have printed all the parts (got a Centauri Carbon for the purpose, great machine!), for a rather small Lowrider V4 build, on a mega-tight budget.
There WILL be a thread full of my noob questions related to the build process as soon as I get started!

I’m looking at getting some mills to start me off. I obviously found the starters kit @ the V1 store, but shipping etc. is a bit off-putting.

Been looking at Amazon.se, AliExpress, mainly trying to find comparable bits (+bobs) to the Sharp Stuff kit. A friend suggested this kit from Lunyee. I’d love it if some friendly, knowledgeable, soul here could take a minute and give me an educated opinion on whether this is worth putting ~€60/$70 into.

I’m looking for ‘Getting my feet wet-tools’ basically. Trying stuff out. Mostly MDF, plywood, some hardwood. Will likely try Aluminium and Brass too. At least that’d be friggin awesome..

Love this forum btw. Please feel free to tell me off or set me straight if I make any faux pas , I can take critique and learn from my mistakes!

Greetings and salutations from Stockholm, Sweden

Welcome to V1 @TeknoViking. Most of those bits will work. Ideally you want 0-flute or single flute upcut bits for our use case. After you feel more comfortable you could try the 2 flute and downcut bits. The V bits, ball nose and tapered bits will all work just fine.

Keep us updated on your progress and be sure to ask any questions you might have as you’re building your LR4.
