I guess I’m the odd man out here lol. I use the full sheet capability of my LR4 way more often than I do small projects it seems. Even when its something that doesn’t require a full sheet, its so much easier to just throw it on the LR4 and cut what I need instead of getting out another saw to cut the sheet smaller to then cut it again on the LR4. But that’s just my use case and for sure does not apply to everyone.

I don’t cut full sheets, but I made mine 4’ x 5’ purely because I wanted it to be able to support the full sheet with out me having to break it down 
I can place it, cut what I want, and slide it down. It’s just big enough that if I ever had to cut something full sheet, it’s got enough room that I should be able to tile a full sheet easily in 2 operations

You would be surprised how often I throw a brand new sheet on the board and take off tiny scraps after 1 gcode run lol. But that is why for me, the full sheet machine makes the most sense. At one time I had a second LR that was 3x5, I thought I would use it a lot more, turns out I hate making extra cuts, so If I didn’t have a scrap piece that was large enough for what I needed to cut at the time, and also small enough to fit on the 3 x 5 then I never used it.
