Vorher gab es einen LR V3 in der gleichen Größe, mit 1m X-Achse und 2m Y-Achse gebaut, das war aber zum Arbeiten mit meinem Werkstatt-Layout nicht optimal.
Wow, that looks kind of nice. I always thought about doing the dust collection the way you did it. Do you have the files for the “runners” that are on the rails? I’d love to do something like this in the future.
It’s a remix of these runners: www.printables.com/model/945338-34-conduit-roller

Printables’ one-piece hangers could get stuck if they were pulled too hard in one direction. That’s why my hangers are twice as wide, with a bearing on each side.
The rubber straps used to secure the hose coils are also important to ensure everything works properly.
I’ve designed them in SolidWorks:#
The long X-axis works very well for me, especially because I can easily reach the table from the front and use it even when I’m not milling. Stability and speed are higher in this configuration than with the Lowrider 3 with a 1-meter X-axis, which I had set up previously.
Regarding the exhaust hose: You have to experiment with the length of the exhaust hose. Adjusting and changing the diameter of the loops had a major impact on functionality for me.
