I have this memory that @vicious1 or someone designed some type of “extender” that gives more support for where the flex hose transitions from the end of the gantry. Can someone remind where that is and a link to it?
I think it was @azab2c that had the one I liked. Possibly bad memory.
I actually just edited the pictures I took. I left a note on my desk to put it up tomorrow.
Recall Ryan sharing one for LR4 in the RC3 topic, are you thinking about Hose Bump LR4.stl in first post of RC3 for Beta crew?
I only made one for LR3 https://www.printables.com/model/393613-v1e-lowrider3-hangers-25-or-2-for-vac-hose. My LR3 mod supports Vac hose past the belt, was needed for my clear PVC 2.5" hose which is really flexible, it sags between braces even.
Yep, that’s the one I remembered, except I thought it was LR4.
And yep. I printed that one but misremembered it with the one above. Thanks.
Struggling to keep my build pure and stock, but am trying…
Yep, but I could not remember the file name or who made it and my efforts to search were fruitless!
Hmmmm, I like that one.
Is it possible to route the vacuum hose towards the rear by the y rail? I was thinking of making a second hose loop on the backside so it was a clean setup.
But most pictures I see it comes off the front of the table / the non-rail side.
@Jacob_R
I am attempting to route the long (Y) portion of my flex hose on the same side as the rail, due to my space requiring material loading from the long Y non-rail side.
On the LR3 I run the hose towards the front, but it’s easily reversable - I have a channel that it is supported in (this could be a simple box) that is about 1.5 hose diameters deep.
Because the hose is neatly controlled in the y direction I haven’t had any need for any special support - once again as long as it’s supported and constrained it behaves very well.
