I finished my LR4 build a couple days after Christmas. I certainly learnt a lot along the way and still have so far to go with CNCing but I have a robot that moves a spinny cutty thing around the place so Im counting that as an absolute win.
I printed all the parts in mid November as a ‘one day’ project, but then get pretty excited about it all and bought the kit and pipes and stuff shortly after. I even picked up a ping pong table for free of facebook marketplace which worked out pretty well for the table (kinda - its pretty darn warpy so surfacing is an ongoing dilemma).
Some photos of my build and couple of my first cut for your viewing fix (edit, new user can only upload one photo). PS only had a spiral upcut bit so mdf is pretty fuzzy. Easy to clean up though.
Welcome to the forum! I didn‘t see a single dumb question yet.
Having built the LR is the first step and it looks great! Now it‘s the part where you make it dirty!
Congrats on your great progress. Welcome! There are no dumb questions. We’re all trying to learn and doing our best to help others in the same journey!
