LR3 to LR4 Complete

Whew what a blur this last 2 weeks have been! Got 2 customer orders complete and shipped out. Got pics of one of them but totally spaced on the second one. Also got my personal full sheet machine upgraded from LR3 to LR4 and ran its first cut today right before I had to head back offshore!

Pics of the first Customer LR4 from the boxing process…

And some pics of my completed LR4

It’s very first cut was some table pieces for a friend of mine from a full sheet of MDF

Also brought a batch of parts with me to work to put together some YZ plates and Cores for more builds when I get back home next time! I’ll post some pics of those as I get to work on them

Very cool! Nice work on the packaging. Also like the added sticker, nice detail.

Are you cutting the 18mm mdf at 9mm doc? If so, what speeds? I need to cut some 18mm mdf soon.

I went at 5mm DOC since I was using a 1/8" endmill. I was running 30mm/s. I have been successfully running 40mm/s on the smaller beta LR4 but since this was my very first cut with this one and I needed it to come out right I backed off a little to be sure. It worked great!
