LR3 Core Loose

Today when doing the initial squareness I noticed that my core is tight on the rails at the x max but is loose at the x min.

The core is also ever so slightly touching the braces at the bottom.

Any suggestions on what to check first?

Hello! Interesting… Do you have permanent Struts mounted? If so, are the dimensioned the same height at both ends?
Are the braces all squared upright, already checked braces are same dimensions?

Were all the braces printed in same orientation, on same printer without any dimension/skew changes between prints? The loose one isn’t near source of heat, has the behavior always been like this?

Also check the screws for your braces. If they are too tight they can spread the tubing apart. Also if it’s not that or what @azab2c said I can tell you exactly what it was for me both times I’ve had it happen. I had over tightened the tool mount and split the core. Yes I’ve done it twice lol

Yes, have laser cut aluminium strut plates.
Haven’t taken any measurements as yet.

All struts the same print and material/orientation etc.

It is in my shed, Im in Aus and we have had some warm days 40-45 in the shed I assume so its possible that the PLA just can’t handle it.

I’ve not really noticed it in the past as only really starting to test now.

haha, I actually just replaced the core recently.

Ill take a look again
