LR2… ready to trash it

At my wits end here, so I’ll start from the top if that is okay….

I printed and bought everything, it is assembled and ready to work…. After I get this firmware figured out….

From the top:
Ordered a board from the site in/around December2024 and selected my project for the pre flashed arrival.

I have BTT SKR-PRO-V1.2 with BTT 2209 V1.3 (pin bent back as instructed) (what was sent to me) (also I was short one 2209 so I had to order extra on amazon, no biggie) with BTT TFT35-E3.

-Dual z, dual y, and single x axis motors (motors function as intended)
-Dual z endstop, dual y endstop, single x endstop (all min)

After inserting all the connections like the pictures on the site, everything was acting weird, as my previous post about the axis barely moving and all that jazz.

So I downloaded (following V1 guide) and flashed the board with: V1CNC_SkrPro_Dual_2209-2.1.1

Let’s start here please! Did I download the correct firmware for everything listed above ?

That one’s for the MPCNC, you need this one: V1CNC_SkrPro_DualLR_2209.

As noted above, you need the LR series firmware not the MPCNC.
Aside that:

You noted in the thread title you’ve built an LR2.

Did you build an LR2, LR3, or LR4?

If you started with an LR2, I would probably not finish that and instead build an LR4 even though it means starting over with printing parts.

I suspect you didn’t build an LR2, because LR2 parts have not been available in the shop for a good while as far as I know.

So you likely built an LR3 or an LR4. Both are great machines and both will work for you.

That said, for a new build at this point I would only recommend building an LR4.

If you have a fuly assembled LR3 and want to press on, that’s fine. But if not, at least think it over.

It is a LR2…. :face_holding_back_tears::face_holding_back_tears: I started printing it back in 2018/2019, then moved to a smaller place that didn’t have the room for all my hobby stuff, and now moved here in 2022 and am finally getting everything together. I move again at the end of this year, so I want to cut at least one thing before I get rid of my…… child
