Hi!
I love my new laser upgrade and Lightburn is such a breeze to use!
I am currently using cheap plywood to test with. Cuts great for smaller test pieces (10x10mm squares) but bigger jobs that takes more time has this issue where it has difficulties with penetrating the last millimeter.
I do not think it is a glue issue in the material since this happens to a couple of different plywood pieces I have.
I think this because, let’s say I cut a quick piece like 10x10mm. No problem. But when I bring that to 100x100mm the cut line “cools down” until it gets hit again by the laser on the second pass. Hard to explain but I bet u understand what I mean. Maybe it has to do with burnt material in the cut hat blocks the laser some how?
I do use air assist. A basic airbrush compressor. Nothing big. But maybe I need to print an air assist module that has more of a cone at the bottom that can get the air more into the cut groove?
I have a NEJE A40640 module.
Looking forward to hearing what u think about this!
