The screws I was using to trigger the endstops kept catching the micro switch arm and pulling it off so I tweaked the design a little using a familiar style I remixed. No more finding my glasses to re-attach the arms.
Added a window into the top of the Jackpot board case so I could see the indicator lights without opening up the box while diagnosing my endstops. Etched the acrylic with 2 of the designs that have been my biggest influence in this journey.
Disregard the messy shop.
So… I once again replaced the micro switch and retipped the wires just in case (and out of ideas) and I got a different outcome on the latest issue. Prior to this, the Z Home function when pressed would drive the gantry upward and would not stop on this single (Left) side of the gantry. I would have to power down to stop things. The other side (Right) would always stop upon the microswitch being activated.
Now it goes up for a second touch off and stays there while throwing a code. I have extended the travel allowance to 1000 and the z back off is at 4. Not sure why it is acting this way? Any ideas?
Move the endstop down just a little bit.
Notice how you do not hear the second click, it is not able to move high enough.
I had it at that height to bring the gantry parallel to the table, but once I moved it like you said, it corrected the issue immediately. Thanks @vicious1 !
I guess I will plane the waste board a little deeper than expected to bring it to parallel.
Move the other side as well, and use the Z offsets. The machine is made to micro adjust, you do not have to adjust the table. The instructions have Z leveling instructions.
What cable chain system did you use?
love the tool mount are you going to post your files anywhere
@Liam_Garcia If you are referring to the magnetic tool mount affixed to the core, it is not mine, but I love its design and function. It is a design by @DougJoseph and can be found here:
https://www.printables.com/model/1050234-lowrider-v4-cnc-kinematic-tool-less-quick-change-a
If you are referring to the wrench and collet holder for the Kobalt Router located on the side of the machine it is just a remix of another one of @DougJoseph great designs and can be found here:

Hope this helps!
@dobieag ,
I bought the cable chain from Amazon here:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QYM88MQ?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1
And designed the armature posted here:

I have seen another design by @Tigger09_2617805 on printables that looked like a great design as well but have no use myself to change.
