Lowrider3 SD

Okay. My SD reader on the TFT doesn’t seem to be working well. I’ve taken my time with this build and there’s been a bunch of problematic moments, and I apologize for the things I said along the way.
The sd card reader seems to work intermittently. Sometimes, not often, it can read a card but can’t print from it. Even the same card and file that I did the crown test with don’t work. It sees the sd card (only in tft mode). Sometimes it sees the file. Files don’t print.

What else can we solve here? Erratic behavior of the machine? Sometimes it moves, sometimes it don’t. Resets usually do the trick. Did I mention z-crashes. Hit the Y, the z will crash. Not every time. Hit the move x, it won’t respond. Reset. It does respond.
And id love to somehow connect to laptop. Not once has it done that and i apologize for the things I’ve said.

I’ve done a bunch of stuff. Went back to the beginning several times. And let me apologize for the things I’ve said. I’m sure it’s something i forgot to check off the list.

The problem is often a SD card that is too fast. Did you try with a class 4 (SD Card 32GB – V1 Engineering Inc)?

Idk. Can you tell me?

HP and Transcend seem to be 10, if I see that correctly. The rest I don’t know. I am not using the board but this has been a common problem.

They’re all class 10. Those Sandisk Ultras are also UHS-1 cards which are even less likely to work.

Ok. Ordering some class 4

Also make sure that it is 32GB or less. Larger won’t work either

SD card should be Class 4, 32Gb or less, formatted with FAT32, and SPI capable. Everyone forgets that last part, but it’s why some cards mysteriously don’t work (because they can’t do SPI)
