Lowrider V4, Norwegian build

Hello folks

I have started the build, the size will be 1220x1501mm.

Currently I have made the core and the YZ assemblies. (I got steel beams from Monter, if other Norwegians should wonder, spent a long time sourcing them).

The steel beams seem slightly bent, see the two last images below (I roll the beam between the two images). Will that be a problem? Can I fix it if it is a problem? Any inputs are appreciated

Added some other images as well

Thermo-labels worked out of the box on my basic brother labeler (PT-H102), which I wasn’t aware of, which was a great plus! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Welcome in!

Should not be an issue, the two beams gets pinned together, and then the strut plates go in as well. Good practice is just to mount the rounded directions facing or away from each other, not in the same direction.

Thanks for the welcome!
Okey! Thanks a lot for the tips and input!:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hello again folks! Hope you are all doing well!

I am now doing the main assembly.

My heel to toe measurements are 148.9cm and 149.4cm, which I tried to correct by loosening part of the strut (2 screws on each side, shown in red in image below) and adjust the braces to counter the length diffference, but it seemed to make no difference. I plan to loosen up more screws and try again, but thought it could be wise to check with the forum too.

**
Any suggestions on how to proceed? Or how would you formulate/elaborate on what the documentation says, so maybe I understand better:**

Documentation: β€œThe adjustment would be to check your end braces and if needed you can loosen your temp struts and straighten the sides out.”

Straighten the sides by gently bending on the braces in relation to the beams?

I have searched the forum and online, and two YouTube build videos.

One of the build videos mentions possibly filing the beam, but I don’t believe that is necessary, I have checked that the beams dont touch the alu-plate.

Worry about that more with the real strut plates. And the biggest issue is usually a lower rail that is too long and touches the XZ metal plates.

Perfect! Thanks for the super quick response, @vicious1 !
On to more happy building then
Cheers
