Lowrider from France

Nothing :sob:
I hear a noise but nothing more

I can’t post a vidĂ©o

I have a doubt about the black cable I put the only cable on the right (tmc 2209 side) but the other 4 cables seem different to me from the tutorial

You are only moving 0.1 mm at a time, which may not be noticeable. Try moving 1 mm (be careful not to move 10mm, if one motor is reversed it could cause damage.

Also manually move the parts to the centre of the build, so you’re not pushing against the ends

Bread board jumpers would be a good testing solution if you doubt the black cable on the tft

it’s the same for 2 or 3 mm

Open the terminal on the Screen and type M119

Typically that means your steppers are not wired correctly. Did you buy my steppers or did you source them from somewhere else? What type are they?

my steppers come from Aliexpress are tmc 2209 v1.3
they are the same as that

For the M119

Those are stepper drivers, what motors do you have, they seem to be wired wrong. If you want to post a video upload it to youtube and put the link here.

My motor IS 17hs8401s

Photos of the connection at the motor would be greatly appreciated, or like Ryan said. A video of the motors and then trying to move would be great!

@vicious1

Try swapping your green and blue motor wires.

I think you found my problem

what would be the correct color order?

I have 4pin jst on the skr. and 6 pin jst on the motors as you can see my cables are not all the same

I will have
-red. empty blue green empty. black on the x axis
-red empty black blue empty green on y 1
-red empty blue green empty black on y2
-red empty blue green empty black on z2
-red empty blue black empty green on z1

THANKS

Just swap the ones I mentioned and see if it works. It can’t get worse than what you have now. I can not know for sure unless I had one in my hand.

There are two pairs and the board wants 12 and AB, right now you have 1A and 2B.

Oh man what a nightmare. You are going to have to check each one. Once you get a good one you can easily match the rest. Give that company a bad review.

Hopefully this helps

It doesn’t really help because for some reason they wired the motors all differently. You have to manually test for pairs, short two wires and see if it gets really hard to turn.

I just checked what happened is that I had to put longer cables than I already had in stock 1m and 1.5m

I didn’t use the cables supplied with the motors (I think that’s my mistake)

:wink:thanks again.

I keep you informed

@Ryan if I don’t order via your shop it’s because of the shipping and customs costs for Europe (just for the motor I have 75€ delivery without customs) maybe a shop in Europe would be a good idea

I completely understand and don’t hold it against you. It is also always a good thing to mention when asking for help so we do not make any assumptions.

That might sound easy but
