Right now, I have to screw them in and then I get stuck because at some point, I can’t turn any further since the bolt head runs up against the part. I saw a video where the person reversed drilled the holes but it’s moving so fast, I’m not sure how it impacts how the bolt goes in and is seated.
Oh, was that my video, want a slower version? Reverse drill helped gradually loosen without overly cutting chunks of material that regular drilling would do.
Print tolerances are intentionally tight, don’t want things wobbling around degrading your cut quality.
All of my V1 machines need to thread the bolt in. A bit of turning after being fully seated is possible, takes a bit of screwdriver or wrench torque, but can be done.
You do not want the bolts to be loose, or else their position is slightly indeterminate. These are often bearing axles, and you want those to be constrained. Sounds normal to me.
