My lowrider4 spindle (router) is changing tilt along the x axis. I tried tramming it and got very close but then realized that the tilt is changing direction along the x axis. Could it be that the x rail is twisted? Any other reason to look for?
Possibly. Post pictures of your bean looking straight on and also looking down the length of it.
With the machine off and slowly moving the core to different locations along the beam, push and pull on the base of your spindle +/- Y. Does the core or spindle move or rock when you do that?
Try this.
Loosen all 6 mount screws. Tighten the left side first, all the way, both screws. Then the right. Then the actual clamps.
I think if you do top then bottom it can cause twist.
Ooh, then that should go in the instructions as well.
Is there a “better” order for the tightening sequence? Like how you walk the bolts on a cylinder head in a specific pattern when tightening?
lets see it it helps here. it seems legit in my head, that is how I always do it…but is it real.
