Looking to hire a CNC user for small project

I’m planning on building a Lowrider late winter. In the mean time, does anyone here want to machine a small project for me?

I need to build a monitor mount to hold 2 small 16” OLED monitors in portrait orientation on the sides of my main 32” monitor. The bracket would attach all 3 monitors using their VESA mounts, and have a VESA mount itself for my monitor arm.

I am getting the new monitors Sunday and will start designing the bracket then.

Anyone here want to cut out the parts for me?

If this isn’t allowed, let me know. I’ll take it down.

Absolutely allowed! Put those machines to work.

Hey @HobbyEngineer,

Not what you asked for, but hopefully something here helps… Less than month ago I gave up on the dream of CNC’n/Printing a monitor mount for my setup. I failed to rationalize the time/material cost, believe me, I tried… Ended up getting good enough, cheaper than I expected monitor arms, ended up with couple of the best sellers (not necessarily best quality…) ones listed on https://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/pc/23572104011

Honestly, I felt very ashamed when purchasing a reinforcement plate https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DKBFG9ZF instead of fabricating one  But, saved me a bunch of time.

I don’t know what the official rulez are, but from what I’ve seen, asking for advice/help (and offering to pay for help) is allowed.

(On the plus side, time saved was spent CNC’n and printing mods for Kohler smart shower equipment, and help save $$$).

Hey Rob, where are you situated? I have a business registered in Germany. :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m in Connecticut, USA.

I’m not looking for a whole monitor support system. I have a very heavy duty monitor arm now. I just need a bracket to hold 2 lightweight (2 pounds each) small extra monitors on the same arm. I’ll try and draw up some ideas and post them here.

That’s too far regrettably. But there are a lot of us in the US.
