I ordered the LR3 kit from Ryan at V1 and I was assembling and noticed one of my linear rails is missing a feature. There’s a slot that’s on 3 of my rails but not the fourth. I tried googling to figure out the purpose of this slot but could not. Does anyone know if it’s a problem to use that one?
Is the truck on it the right way?
For what we are doing with them that slit provides no use. I’m sure it was just a case of 3 from one batch with them and 1 from a batch without. Once you have it together you will never know if its there or not.
Yes I think that is likely it. I spent a bit of time looking around at other rails and most other have it, but there’s a few that don’t. I’ve continued assembling with it and will report back if I run into any issue that I think are related to the rail slit missing. Thanks.
