Linear rail extruder mount

This was done on a LowRider V2 and cut in 4 minutes from 2mm aluminum using gcode exported from fusion.

The accuracy seems really good… there was less than .2 mm tolerance on the holes and all the bolts fit.

Lessons learned after a few broken bits: For aluminum plate get a single flute upcut mill but one with a short flute length (not much taller than the plate). Get your machine very accurate otherwise you will have problems when your passes don’t line up.
