Linear actuators!

Building Linear actuators for my solar panels so I can tilt them using an Arduino and some LDR’s.

Wanted to make something that was scalable and worked around a 2020 extrusion and a common T8 lead screw.
This one is a 400mm single start with a 10rpm 12v motor. I am planning to run them off a separate 12v battery that I happen to have lying around (that bank will also run our greenhouse diesel heater)

Designed to be mounted with the motor up to give some small protection from the elements with the cover on it. They get mounted under the panels so they are pretty protected anyway.

The moving slider is designed to work with the mounting system I designed for the panels. It uses EMT for the mounts and short pieces to attach the moving parts.
