These are the limit switches I am using, they look different to the V1 engineering choices. is there likely to be any issues with my choice?

No those will work just fine. Just lose 3-4 mm for the ball on the end of the switch. But everything is designed to work with those as well as the other ones.
Thank you. I’m sure I can live with losing 3-4mm off the dimensions of what I can cut / carve 
I kept catching the metal piece on the other ones and they would come off. The last time they went flying and I haven’t found them. Replaced them with these and they are so much better.

Y homing on my LR4 had resulted in the cheapo ones I have “hooking” to the screw (passing the stop screw barely, then next home backing up caused it to hook onto the stop screw) so I will probably grab those robust “wheel” ones too!
That was my exact issue. It has happened once since I installed these and there wasn’t a single issue this time.
