It’s 23:17:00 UTC on 31 October 2023 as I type this, so in 43 minutes it’d be hard to argue that it isn’t Nov 1st on machines all over the planet according to that clock, including nearly all of mine.

Will those also work with a Makita?
Don’t think so. They’re just a smidge different (I think the Kobalt is bit larger). If you’re really tight on filament, maybe, but you’re better off printing off the correct mounts.

I actually got the kobalt to fit in the makita mount (way loosen it, but it holds), but the Kobalt top part is slightly larger than the makita, so it won’t plunge all the way without hitting the bearing in the mpcnc… so the Kobalt mount is stepped out from the core a bit more to clear and I don’t want to have to swap mounts when swapping routers. Swapping routers is a frequent operation here.
