Can I connect my shopvac hose direct? I know these are meant for dust collectors, but I do not have one, only my trusty Ridgid 16 gallon.
You should be able to, I use a dewalt quiet vac. Worst case you need a hose size adapter.
I use a wet/dry vac with mine. I have added a dust separator to it. It is one of those that snaps to the top of a 5-gallon bucket. It works well.
What did you do with the large 70mm opening?
I just used a hose hooked up to it. If your hose is smaller or larger, you just need to use an adapter. My hose hooked up to it just fine. But I have a Dewalt router. I don’t know if the hose size is different.
