Kinematic Accessory Mounts for Makita Router Clamps

I was fascinated by the possibilities of Doug Joseph’s LR4 kinematic mount for easy pen attachment and future use of a laser. The original Part A Main Mount didn’t fit the Makita/65mm clamps so I modeled my own using Doug’s as a template. Minor adjustments made, mostly to how the mount fits around the vertical hole in the bottom router clamp. I also continued the “circle” so the way around instead of cutting it flat on the top and bottom to increase surface area and I mostly just lined the look better:

I also modified the Part C Mobile Base to be a friction fit with my two washers and to accept a screw for a glueless assembly

And lastly I modified the pen holder to keep the pen from rubbing the lock nut and made the pen hole come to a point rather than a curve to improve printability.

Pretty happy with how it turned out and should probably stop tinkering and just start on some of the projects I built the machine for

This looks very nice. I’d like to print one too. Have you uploaded the files to one of the repositories?
