I’ve got the Jackpot connected via USB but didn’t see the obvious “Erase” button so went digging. I found the “erase.sh” command in the thread by @CG_Boatbuilder (This thread)
Before I go assuming I know what I’m doing I thought I better wait for guidance given that Andy struggled possibly because of the Mac platform (I’m using the same setup, early 2015 MacBook Air, Chrome browser).
A couple questions.
Do I use the command sender in the FluidNC UI (where the jog and homing controls etc are)?
Should I automatically remove the ESP from the Jackpot before I begin?
Do I or don’t I hold down any buttons on the ESP and is that while plugging in in the USB and powering up or is it only just before clicking the “Install” button in the web based installer?
Just don’t want to add any unnecessary mistakes here and make things more complicated than they need to be.
